3: Artist’s Brain - Whitney Morgan Cox - Actress, Dancer, Choreographer
This is our first Artist’s Brain episode, and in these episodes we interview a wide variety of artists and performers to pick their brains for those nuggets of gold that we all could use in our own process. On this episode, we pick the brain of one of our favorite artists on the entire PLANET; Whitney Morgan Cox. Whitney is an award-winning actress, dancer, choreographer and so much more. You know her from ‘Criminal Minds’ and ‘In the Wake of Ire.’ We talk with Whitney about her history as a ballerina, how she overcame a devastating injury, how the movie ‘Blue Crush’ changed her life forever, and how she landed in a career as an actor. She shares her insight and wisdom on overcoming stage fright, overcoming injury, and even overcoming a breast cancer diagnosis. She also drops some acting tips, and lets us in on what she loves (and doesn’t love) about live improv. Follow Whitney on Instagram @whitneymcox!
